On Friday, February 10th, 2023 at approximately 10:00 P.M., Officer Wozniak with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department initiated a traffic stop on U.S. 31 in the area of 13th Road on a blue 2013 Chevrolet passenger car.
During the investigation, the officer detected the odor of marijuana from inside the vehicle. A probable cause search was completed and multiple packages of marijuana were located within the vehicle.
Two passengers, 24-year-old Kobe L. Beard and 22-year-old Kameron J. Reed, both of Kokoma were taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail. They were both booked for Possession of Marijuana and were given cash bonds of $250. Reed and Beard bonded out of jail just after midnight.
