The Marshall County Council will convene a special meeting on Wednesday, July 30th, to discuss the purchase of equipment for the County Highway Department.
At the Monday, July 21st, meeting of the County Commissioners, Highway Superintendent Jason Peters discussed a $5,000 price increase that takes effect August 1st for the pothole patching machine. The commissioners believe they now have the necessary council votes to proceed with the equipment purchase at the current price of $99,500.
The special council meeting will begin at 2 p.m. in room 203 of the Marshall County Building and will be streamed live on the county’s Facebook channel.
