On Monday the Marshall County Commissioners open bids for this year’s Community Crossing projects.
Three companies submitted bids for all 17 projects. They each detailed the individual projects and then offered a total bid for the work.
E & B Paving from Rochester had a total bid of $2,138,274. Milestone Contractors out of South Bend offered a total bid of $1,901,806.31. The final bid came from Phend & Brown from Milford bid $2,199,693.70 for all 17 projects.
The Marshall County Commissioners took the bids under advisement to allow Highway Superintendent Jason Peters the opportunity to review them and make a recommendation at the May 20th meeting of the County Commissioners.
