The Marshall County Coroner’s Office investigated a traffic fatality on Wednesday night on Queen Road south of 7th Road.
At 11:11 p.m., emergency responders from the Plymouth Fire Department and Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to the single-vehicle crash involving a 4-door Mercury passenger car.
24-year-old Hunter Poor of Plymouth drove the car.
The coroner’s office says Poor was southbound on Queen Road and, for reasons unknown, left the roadway on the east shoulder, striking a tree.
Poor was the lone occupant. He was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash by Mashall County Coroner Dean Byers.
At the time of the crash, the weather was clear, and the roadways were clear and dry.
