The Lawrence County Board has announced that its Building and Grounds Committee will meet in special session this week. County officials have informed GIANT-FM News that the committee will get together at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday May 20th at the Lawrence County Courthouse in Lawrenceville. The purpose of the meeting is to have the firm ADG Engineering brief the committee members on the status and progress of the Courthouse Site Improvement Project. The project involves work on the courthouse grounds including stair and sidewalk repairs. There will also be a preliminary update on the upcoming Courthouse Windows project. The work will involve the replacement of all of the existing building windows to increase energy efficiency and savings.
