
A Fort Wayne man was booked into the Marshall County Jail at 11:03 a.m. Monday after he was stopped by Officer Krynock with the Plymouth Police Department and was found to be operating a vehicle without a driver’s license.
The traffic stop was at the intersection of U.S. 30 and 31.
The vehicle being driven by 21-year-old Marroquin Perez Felix Estuardo was stopped for a traffic infraction. Estuardo was found to have never been issued a driver's license. He was lodged at the Marshall County Jail, given a court date of July 29, and a cash bond of $100, which was paid at 11:34 a.m.; he was subsequently released on bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed, and there is only probable cause to believe that a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
