Officers with the Plymouth Police Department investigated two separate domestic battery calls on Saturday and arrested four individuals.
At approximately 1:20 a.m. Saturday, Plymouth Police were dispatched to 2550 North Michigan Street, the Red Rock Inn, for a report of a possible domestic battery in progress. Arriving on scene, police located John D. Simpson, 39, with an address of Pierce Street in Plymouth, and April D. Campbell, 40, who is listed on the booking sheet as living at King Road in Plymouth. They were both inside room 102.
The investigation determined that the two individuals had been in a physical altercation and had battered each other. Both Simpson and Campbell were arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail. They were issued a court and a bond.
Saturday afternoon at 2:20 p.m., Plymouth police officers were dispatched to 706 N. First Street, for the reports of an unknown problem. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with multiple parties inside the residence.
City officers determined that 18-year-old Adisyn O. Huff of Forest Drive and 37-year-old Ingrid Y. Guzman Osorino of the 1st Street address had gotten into a physical altercation with each other. Both individuals were transported to the Marshall County Jail and charged with Battery.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed, and that there is only probable cause to believe it has. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
