Officers from the Plymouth Police Department arrested two people on Wednesday morning, July 9th, on warrants.
Plymouth Police became aware of a warrant for John Slattery, 41, of Plymouth. The warrant for Slattery was confirmed with Marshall County Central Dispatch. Officers made contact with Slattery at his residence. He was taken into custody and transported to Marshall County Jail without incident.
At 11:30 a.m., Patrolman Thornton was notified of a female who had an active warrant for her arrest. Officers arrived at the residence at 1420 West Madison Street. They located 51-year-old Laura Jimenez. She was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on the warrant.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
