Officers from the Plymouth Police Department were dispatched to Walmart for two males attempting to steal a bottle of liquor on just before 7 p.m. Saturday evening.
Officer Witkowski arrived on scene and found two Hispanic males in the parking lot attempting to leave the area. 22-year-old Joshua Yovanny Vargas Alvarado of Dickson Street in Plymouth was arrested and charged with public intoxication, shoplifting, contributing alcohol to a minor, and obstruction of justice.

Alexis Arias, 20, of Beerenbrook Street in Plymouth is charged with public intoxication, shoplifting, and illegal consumption of an alcoholic beverage.

Both individuals were transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on cash bonds.
