Monday evening, the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety, and the Common Council meet in the second-floor Council Chambers of City Hall beginning at 6 p.m.

The agenda for the Board of Works includes reports from city department heads and awarding the demolition bid for the Pointe Apartments at 309 Gibson Street.

The City Council will consider the second reading of an ordinance implementing a wheel tax for the city.  The proposed annual wheel tax is $25 for vehicles, while heavier vehicles would pay $40.  The council will also consider an ordinance amendment for the requirements of contractor registrations.

Also on the council’s agenda is the NIPRA Midwest Connect Project, Plymouth Aquatic Center, and Dustin’s Place update.  Members will also get an update on ONE Marshall County and the City’s Comprehensive Plan.

Those attending the city meetings on Monday evening should enter through the Garro Street door and move to the second floor. The city meetings are also streamed live on the city’s YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/@CityofPlymouth
