The City of Plymouth will open quotes for police vehicles and electric vehicles during the regular meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety on Monday evening at 6 in the council chambers of city hall.
Also, on the agenda for the Board of Public Works and Safety are reports from various city department heads, the city attorney and clerk. Koontz Lake Brewing Company at 529 North Fifth Street in Plymouth is seeking a street closure and members will consider an extension proposal for Republic Services trash and recycling services.
The Common Council meeting is at 6:30 and includes the third and final reading of an ordinance enacting several new requirements for the operation of golf carts on city streets and alleys. The council will consider on the second and possibly third reading the ordinance setting salaries for 2025 for appointed officers and employees, and fire and police personnel. They will also hear on the first reading an ordinance fixing salaries for 2025 for elected officials.
During “Other Business” the 2024 Capital Affordability Plan will be discussed with a representative from Baker Tilly, and council members will get an update on ONE Marshall County and the Comprehensive Plan. There is also an opportunity for the public to comment on agenda items.
