County Police arrest a Cincinnati man after determining he had never been issued a driver’s license.
About 8 p.m. Monday, a Marshall County deputy conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle on U.S. 31 near Plymouth-Goshen Trail. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 46-year-old Edgar Bravo Lopez from Ohio.
Lopez was operating without ever receiving a license. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked for operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license and held on a $100 cash bond for an hour and then released once the bond was paid.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
