A planned road cut for a utility project will be the cause for a Shelby County road closure next week.
CenterPoint Energy will be closing N 425 W at W 300 N from starting Monday, May 19. The end date is not absolute but could be through Friday, if needed.
The work involves the CenterPoint Energy facility and line at the northwest corner of the intersection. They are hopeful that if there are no leaks or other issues this work can be completed with only a one week closure.
Travel east and west on W 300 N will not be affected. All residents on N 425 W north of the intersection will have access to their homes from the north.
