A disturbance at 2535 North Michigan Street, the Economy Inn on Plymouth’s north side early Tuesday morning sent officers from the Plymouth Police Department to investigate.
The call came into the Marshall County Central Dispatch Center at 5:35 and the caller said Ceara Conner was outside her room yelling. The caller also said that Ms. Conner had a warrant for her arrest.
Officer Mark with the Plymouth Police Department made the scene and located 23-year-old Ceara Conner who resides at the Economy Inn. He was also able to confirm the warrant with the assistance of Central Dispatch.
Ceara Conner was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Marshall County Jail. She was booked in for the failure to appear warrant.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
