A Cass County woman was sentenced to six separate 40-year sentences.
Amanda Sayger, 38, was sentenced in Cass Circuit Court on Level 1 felony counts of child molesting. Another child molesting charge added 12 years to the sentence. With the sentences to run consecutively, the total time comes to 252 years.
The charges stem from an investigation by the Logansport Police Department. In 2023, a juvenile female was reported to have been sexually assaulted by a man named Mikel Fort. Further investigation showed Sayger was a co-conspirator in the reported assault and that she helped arrange sexual encounters for pay. Sayger was also reported to have given the juvenile victim alcohol and THC gummies.
Fort is scheduled for a jury trial in March.
