The Marshall County Tourism Commission is forming a new nonprofit, Visit Marshall County, to promote the county’s tourism assets and events. The nonprofit will be funded by the Marshall County Tourism Commission, which is supported by revenue from the innkeepers' tax. The Tourism Commission seeks seven individuals to serve on the board of directors.  They are looking for local leaders passionate about tourism and community engagement.

The qualifications for a board of directors’ position on Visit Marshall County include someone interested in promoting tourism and local events. Experience in marketing, advertising, or community outreach, as well as strong leadership and teamwork skills, would be preferable.

The right candidates must be willing to commit to attending monthly meetings and supporting board initiatives.

Applicants should email a resume and optional cover letter to mctc@co.marshall.in.us. Applications will be accepted until all positions are filled, with appointments expected to be finalized by the end of January 2025. For more information, contact the Marshall County Tourism Commission at mctc@co.marshall.in.us.
