The Shelby County Board of Commissioners has lifted the burn ban for Shelby County.
"After receiving a significant amount of rain late Thursday night and Friday morning, the Shelby County Commissioners have lifted the county-wide burn ban effective immediately," said Shelby County Emergency Management Agency director Dennis Ratekin in a media release.
The Shelby County Emergency Management Agency will continue to monitor the dry conditions and address the issue as needed.
