The Parke County Commissioners have reinstated the countywide burn ban.
Commissioners are asking the public to refrain from any type of open burning. You may still burn for outdoor activities. However, you will need to use a contained, 23 inch fire ring.
It's noted, as well, that if you have a vendor on your property during the upcoming Parke County Covered Bridge Festival, relay this information to them and ensure that they are aware.
Vermillion County has reintroduced its burn ban, also.
