Some bad news for the Bridgeport City Council Tuesday night at their regular monthly session at City Hall.
Mayor Tyler Griffin reported that the city received word from the Greater Wabash Regional Planning Commission (GWRPC) that their application for an over $1 million grant for a major water line replacement project on the city's west side was not approved. The mayor said that there were 15 to 20 cities who were approved in the competitive process ahead of Bridgeport. However, the mayor said they will make application again next year
