The Brass Rail Bar and Grill in downtown Plymouth is stepping up to support a local family after a teenage boy was seriously injured in a single-vehicle traffic accident last month.
Spencer Goebel, a 16-year-old Plymouth High School student, was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash on Sunday, July 26th. Since the accident, Spencer has undergone multiple surgeries with more likely to come, and he faces a long road of recovery ahead.
To help the Goebel family with mounting medical expenses, The Brass Rail will host a Dining with A Purpose event on Friday, August 21st. The restaurant will donate a percentage of all sales that day to the family, from the time they open at 11:00 a.m. until close.
The Brass Rail is encouraging the community to come in for a great meal or drinks to help support the Goebel family during this difficult time. With everyone's help, the restaurant hopes to make the fundraiser a success for the family.
