Jail Bookings
The following people were recently booked at the Fulton County Jail:
• Raul Chigo, 22, Michigan City, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on an original charge of reckless driving. He was taken into custody at the jail and held on a $150 cash bond.

• Dezaray L. Elder, 23, Pierceton, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant charging her with escape of community corrections, with an original charge of possession of methamphetamine. She was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies at 1136 W. Ninth St. and held without bond.

• Nkandu Ntumba, 26, Indianapolis, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on an original charge of reckless driving. He was picked up at the Marion County Jail and held without bond.

Police Incidents
Crisis response
• At 1:13 a.m. Wednesday, police requested a crisis team of 4C Health be contacted for assistance after receiving a report about a man threatening self-harm. 4C advised it would develop a safety plan after he was medically cleared at Woodlawn Hospital.
Wreck
• Vehicles driven by Ryley A. Williams and Heather M. Gustafson, both of Rochester, collided at approximately 7:40 a.m. Wednesday at Ninth and Main streets.
Bus passed
• At 8:17 a.m. Wednesday, police received a report about the driver of a dark blue car passing a bus with its stop arm extended at 6814 N. State Road 25, Talma.
Ordinance related
• On Wednesday afternoon, police left 14-day warning notices for junk at the following properties: 315 Pontiac St., 316 Jefferson St., 1118 Pearl St., 1008 E. 14th St. and 311 Clayton St. Additionally, 14-day notices were left for an unlicensed/undriveable vehicles at 526 Pontiac St. and 1020 Pontiac St. and for mattresses at 1116 Bancroft Ave.
Animal call
• An Akron resident in the area of State Road 14 and County Road 1075 East was advised to keep their dog confined to their property following a report about it regularly chasing vehicles in the roadway.
Suspicious
• Shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday, police received a report about people removing items from a home at 1136 W. Ninth St. over the last couple of weeks. A property owner was contacted and advised they were allowed to be there. Dezaray L. Elder, listed above, was taken into custody by responding officers. She was booked on a warrant only.
• At 5:24 p.m. Wednesday, police received a report that a woman was being held hostage at a Kewanna residence. The report was determined to be unfounded and possibly a case of "swatting."
Motel incident
• At 3:46 p.m. Wednesday, officers were dispatched to Rochester Motel, 2147 Southway 31, on a report about a man yelling and beating on doors. Police records indicate a verbal altercation had ensued, during which the man was bitten on the arm by his own dog. He was treated at the scene for multiple puncture wounds.
Leaving the scene
• Shortly before 8 a.m. Thursday, police received a report that someone drove away after damaging a yard at 8517 W. 400 North.
