Plymouth Mayor Robert Listenberger took a few minutes to properly recognize Ralph Booker’s contributions to the City of Plymouth during the January 14th Common Council meeting.
The mayor read a proclamation and gave Booker a key to the city. Listenberger said he appreciated Booker attending City Council and Complete Streets meetings. He said, “The information you have given us over the years.”
While reading the proclamation, the mayor said, “Ralph Booker has dedicated his work-life to his community and has demonstrated in many practical ways his deep and genuine love for this city and county.” The mayor went on to say that Mr. Booker has served many roles during his career, including County Ag Agent, educator to many local farmers, and a dedicated Rotary Club member.
The proclamation said Booker served Marshall County and the City of Plymouth as a Planning Consultant for 15 years. He also proudly served in the Army Reserves, retiring as a lieutenant colonel, showing his leadership and dedication to not only our county and city but also our country.
Ralph Booker is finally retiring completely and plans to spend more time with his family, including his grandchildren, and travel.
Mayor Robert Listenberger then presented Booker with the Key to the City for his many years of a job well done.
