All Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) branches will be closed Saturday, September 5, through Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. Branches will resume regularly scheduled business hours on Tuesday, September 8.
The closure means Hoosiers planning to handle in-person BMV transactions over the holiday weekend will need to plan ahead or take advantage of online services and self-service kiosks.
The BMV encourages customers to interact when and how they choose through streamlined services designed to maximize convenience. Hoosiers can complete many transactions online, including license renewals and vehicle registrations, without visiting a branch in person.
For a complete list of branch locations and hours, to complete an online transaction, or to find a 24-hour BMV Connect kiosk near you, visit IN.gov/BMV.
