Billings, Montana man arrested for sexual battery to Hacienda employee

Plymouth Police arrested a patron of the Hacienda Restaurant in Plymouth for sexual battery.

Monday evening, September 2^nd, a Hacienda employee reported to Plymouth Police Officer Jakub Mark that a male patron of the restaurant had walked up behind her and sexually battered her. Management asked The male to leave the restaurant before law enforcement was notified.

The investigating officer was able to locate the suspect, Lee Patrick Swanson, 42, of Billings, Montana, at Love's Truck Stop.

Officer Mark interviewed Swanson and ended up taking him into custody. He was lodged in the Marshall County Jail at 2:40 Tuesday morning for felony sexual battery and held on a $1,500 cash bond. Swanson was released from jail on bond at 9:18 Tuesday morning.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings, entitled to be represented by counsel, and entitled to a trial by jury, at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
