A Culver woman died Sunday evening following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. 31 and State Road 10 in Argos.
Carol Ziert, 80, of Culver, was pronounced dead at 8:12 p.m. on December 28th at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth.
According to the Marshall County Coroner's Office, Ziert was driving a 2024 Nissan passenger car westbound on State Road 10 when she entered the path of a southbound vehicle on U.S. 31.
Ziert was transported to Plymouth Hospital following the collision, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Marshall County Deputy Coroner John Lampkins determined that Ziert died from multiple blunt force injuries resulting from the crash.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash. Additional details, including information about the other driver and vehicle involved, will be released by the Sheriff's Department.
