Angie Johnson Birchmeier officially filed for re-election on Wednesday as Marshall County Auditor, announcing her intention to continue serving the residents of Marshall County with integrity, transparency, and fiscal responsibility.
“I am deeply grateful for the trust and support the people of Marshall County have placed in me,” Birchmeier said. “It has been an honor to serve as your Auditor, and I am proud of the progress we have made together. With your continued confidence, I look forward to building on that work in the years ahead.”
During her tenure, Birchmeier has focused on providing accurate, transparent, and responsible financial management for the county. With decades of experience in local government, she brings a strong foundation of knowledge and practical expertise to the Auditor’s Office, ensuring taxpayer dollars are managed wisely and efficiently.
In addition to her local responsibilities, Birchmeier is actively involved at the state level as the Treasurer of the Auditors’ Association of Indiana. She serves on several statewide committees, helping shape best practices and policy discussions while ensuring Marshall County has a strong voice in statewide financial and administrative matters.
Birchmeier is also committed to ongoing professional development, regularly pursuing continuing education to stay current with evolving laws, technology, and accounting standards. This commitment ensures the Auditor’s Office operates using the most effective and up-to-date practices in public finance and administration.
“I am proud of what we have accomplished and believe my experience, leadership, and proven record of service position me well to continue representing the people of Marshall County,” Birchmeier added. “If re-elected, I will remain focused on safeguarding our resources, improving efficiency, and delivering public service with honesty and integrity.”
