Ameren Illinois has given public notice to Lawrence County and other customers that it has filed for electrical rate and charge changes with the state of Illinois.
The company issued a statement indicating that it filed for the proposed changes in late May with the Illinois Commerce Commission for the Rate Zones I, II, and III.
Copies of the proposed changes in schedules can be inspected at the Ameren Illinois offices located at 300 Liberty Street in Peoria, Illinois or online at www.iccillinois.gov/e-docket/.
The filing does not necessarily mean that the changes will be approved. Customers are being advised that the Commission could alter or otherwise amend the rates or conditions of service after hearings are held on the matter. Those hearings have not yet been scheduled.
