A new Building Commissioner for Marshall County was appointed last Wednesday night during the County Commissioners’ Special meeting.
Former Building Commissioner Chuck Garman resigned his position to take another position in the private sector.
Adam Combs was appointed. He has lived in Plymouth since 2002 and has worked in building inspections since 2016. Combs told GIANT fm WTCA that he has overseen the Weatherization program since 2018.
His training includes ISV Energy Auditor, BPI Building Analyst, BPI Quality Control Inspector, HVAC Inspection, Retrofit Shell, and, of course, your standard OSHA that comes along with the work in the field.
Adam Combs told WTCA that he has worked in and around construction most of his life and looks forward to serving the community with integrity, common sense, and a commitment to helping both residents and businesses succeed.
