58-year-old Valpo man arrested for .384 alcohol

A call to the Marshall County Dispatch Center of a possible intoxicated driver Thursday night, May 30th just before 7 p.m. ended with an arrest

Officers with the Plymouth Police Department were dispatched to 421 S. Michigan Street when a caller said that a male driver pulled up behind them in a vehicle and appeared to be intoxicated.

Officers found the male, identified as Nickolas Riley, 58, of Valparaiso, stopped in the middle of the roadway. While talking to Mr. Riley, officers detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle. It was later determined that Mr. Riley had been drinking and was highly intoxicated. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Plymouoth hospital for a certified test. The certified test results showed a .384.

Nickolas Riley was then arrested and transported to Marshall County Jail, where he was booked in for driving while intoxicated with a prior conviction.
