Four individuals were arrested Friday afternoon, July 1st, after Plymouth Police officers responded to a reported physical altercation at Centennial Park.
Officers arrived at the scene at approximately 3:30 p.m. and found multiple parties involved in the fight. Officers separated those involved and spoke with witnesses and the individuals present before making their arrests.
Four people were subsequently taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail, each charged with battery with bodily injury. Those arrested were John Ronald Lara Jr., 26, and Shane D. Etenoir, 18, both of Walkerton, along with Alysia Jade Miller, 26, and Dawson David Santos, 25, both of Plymouth.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
