2025 Indiana State Fair strikes a chord with ‘Soundtrack of Summer’ theme

The 168th Indiana State Fair wrapped up its 2025 season just one week ago, following 15 days full of summertime fun, competition, education and entertainment. This year’s State Fair final attendance was 854,977 (slight increase over 2024 attendance 854,236) This year’s theme hit all the high notes with its “Soundtrack of Summer” celebration, presented by Get Prepared Indiana—bringing Hoosiers together for music, memories, and nonstop Fair fun. Hoosiers from all corners of the state enjoyed fairgoer favorites, including the traditions of food, animals, exhibits and rides.

“The Indiana State Fair is a shining example of Hoosier hospitality, showcasing the heart of our state—our people, our agriculture, and our deep-rooted traditions,” said Governor Mike Braun. “I had the pleasure of visiting the Fairgrounds several times this year, and it was incredible to see so many Hoosiers coming together to enjoy the music, food, and festivities. Events like the State Fair not only celebrate our agricultural heritage but also support economic development across our state.”
