A traffic stop Friday night, August 9th on U.S. 31 near 12th Road resulted in the arrest of two individuals from Indianapolis.
At approximately 10:00 PM a K-9 Deputy with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department stopped a vehicle and found the driver, 41-year-old Sarah Wilson, to be operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license.

During the traffic stop, another occupant of the vehicle provided false identification. He was eventually identified as 24-year-old Demillion Alexander who had an active warrant through Miami County.
Sarah Wilson was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked for operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license. She was held on a $100 cash bond that was paid at 12:46 Saturday morning.
Demillion Alexander was booked for Identity Deception, False Informing, and the active warrant. He was held on a $1,500 cash bond for the new charges and without bond for the Miami County warrant.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Argos Police Department.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
