Two Indianapolis men were arrested Sunday evening after Marshall County Sheriff's deputies responded to a physical altercation at Plymouth Speedway, located at 11631 12th Road.
Deputies were dispatched to the scene at approximately 9:40 p.m. on June 28th in reference to an in-progress fight between two male subjects. Upon arrival, deputies investigated and identified the two individuals involved as 21-year-old Jason Rodriguez and 23-year-old Miguel Rodriguez, both of Indianapolis.
Jason Rodriguez faces the more serious charges of the two. He was booked into the Marshall County Jail on Battery Against a Public Safety Official, a Level 6 Felony; Resisting Law Enforcement, a Class A Misdemeanor; Public Intoxication, a Class B Misdemeanor; and Disorderly Conduct, a Class B Misdemeanor. He was assigned a court date and issued a bond of $1,505.

Miguel Rodriguez was booked on a charge of Public Intoxication, a Class B Misdemeanor, and was issued a bond of $255. He was also assigned a court date.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely 2 an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
