2 arrested by County Police on domestic battery charges in separate weekend incidents

The Marshall County Sheriff's Department arrested two individuals on domestic battery charges in separate incidents over the weekend.

On Saturday, August 29, at approximately 5:22 p.m., the Marshall County Sheriff's Department received a report of a domestic incident occurring at a residence on McCollough Drive in Lakeville. Officers responded to the scene and began an investigation, which concluded with the arrest of 33-year-old Cristina Rudynski of Lakeville. She was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor, and held on a $500 cash bond.

The following morning, Sunday, August 30, at approximately 9:50 a.m., Marshall County Dispatch broadcast a report of a domestic battery in progress at a residence on Dewberry Road in Tippecanoe. The initial caller told dispatch that her husband had shoved her through a doorway.

Marshall County officers and Bourbon Police officers responded to the scene. During the investigation, it was discovered that a battery had occurred. Odell A. Kiesow Jr., 56, of Tippecanoe, was transported to the Marshall County Jail and charged with domestic battery in the presence of a minor. He was held on a $1,500 cash bond.
