Six Lawrence County senior football players were invited to play in the 20th annual Wabash Valley Football Coaches Association (WVFCA) All-Star game Saturday at Rose-Hulman University near Terre Haute.
92 players from 36 area high schools were chosen for the contest, which pits the Black Division against the Gold Division. On the Black Division roster are four Lawrenceville Indians-Rylee Dohoney, Tanner Waller, Kolby Stoops and Kasen Ochs while the Black Division roster has two Red Hill Salukis on it-Hayden Arbuckle and Lance Moore. Practices have been held since late last week. The weekend activities begin Friday evening with a Hall of Fame banquet honoring the players and their coaches at the new Terre Haute Convention Center and induction of the 2024 WVFCA Hall of Fame class. The game is Saturday with kickoff at 7 p.m. ET at Cook Stadium.
