Plymouth High School senior Sophie Wray wrapped up her high school cross country career in style.
Wray was given a police escort back home in Plymouth Saturday night after a 17th place at the IHSAA Cross Country State Championship at Terre Haute.
Wray earned All-State status while blowing away her old school record time of 18:57. She finished the LaVern Gibson Championship course in 18:15.
Homestead won the girls event while Carmel was the overall boys cross country champion.
