Winamac put up a seven-run second inning and made it stand up in a Tuesday 9-6 softball win over Culver.
Culver scored four runs of its own in the top of the third to pull within three but could get no closer.
Makayla Werner was 3-for-3 with two runs and a stolen base. Corrin Combs added three hits in four plate appearances including a double and an RBI. Brody Goodman also drove in a pair of runs.

Culver's Brooke Davis collected two RBI. Teammate Aiden Molebash drove in a run with a 2-for-3 day. Abigayle Zehner drove in the Cavaliers other RBI.
Winamac's only loss was at South Central on April 12. The 9th-ranked (2A) Lady Warriors have won eight straight since.
Winamac (11-1) will play at #13 (3A) Logansport on Thursday.
Culver (7-6) hosts Westville on Wednesday.
