Plymouth Softball struggled to get back from being down early on, and a big inning of 8 runs in the fourth from Triton sealed the deal. The Pilgrims ended up getting run-ruled in the fifth with a 14-3 loss. Offensively, the Pilgrims were led by Jena Downs, who went 2 for 3 with a double. On the mound, Josie Koontz struck out 3, walked none, but allowed 17 hits. The Triton offense was able to hit the ball where the Plymouth defense had holes. The Pilgrims will return to play on Thursday, April 12 hosting John Glenn for a 5pm start.
Again, the JV softball team was to play a shortened, 5 inning game after the varsity game. The game was called after 3 innings due to cold.
