The Illinois Elementary School Association (IESA) has released additional information on a Lawrence County junior high athlete who is going to state.
Congratulations to Red Hill Junior High School 8th grader Addi Thacker. She qualified for the IESA Class 3A cross country state final meet to be held Saturday in Normal by finishing 12th in the sectional this past Saturday at Robinson Nuttall Middle School. Her time was 13:26.80.
Thacker is part of the Lawrenceville-Red Hill junior high co-op cross country program and will represent Parkview Junior High School and compete in the Class 3A final race scheduled at 12:15 p.m. Saturday, October 18th at Normal West High School.
