It is on to the semi-finals of the Class 1A Edwards County Regional for the Red Hill Baseball Salukis. They got a good pitching performance from Carter Davis and won 5-2 over the Wayne City Indians Monday in first round play at the Tank Farm in Bridgeport. The Salukis score their 5 runs on only 6 hits with 2 errors. Jesse Buchanon had 2 hits and a RBI and Hayden Arbuckle and Keegan Liston each had a hit and RBI in the win. Davis went 6 innings on the mound and allowed 2 runs on 3 hits with 10 strikeouts and 6 walks. Peyton Seaney came on in the 7th to pick up the save. The win moves the Salukis to 10-12 on the season. They will now advance to meet top seeded and host Edwards County in the first game Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Albion.
