Registration closes April 1 for the Shelbyville Parks and Recreation Department’s Shelby County Girls Softball leagues.
Practices will start the week of April 28. League games will start the week of May 26.
There are five leagues offered in varying age groups.
T-ball is for girls ages 4-6; 8-and-under (8U) is 7-8; 10U is 9-10; 12U is 11-12; and 14U is 13-14.
8U is a coach pitch league. 10U, 12U and 14U are kid pitch leagues.
Registration is accepted for individuals or teams. Team registration is $500, due by April 1. After the deadline, the team fee rises to $550.
T-ball registration fee is $45. The other four leagues have an $85 registration fee per player.
