Shelbyville and Triton Central split the first two sets Monday before the Tigers rallied to win the next two and defeat the Golden Bears, 25-21, 12-25, 25-23, 25-17.
The Tigers improved to 12-5. Shelbyville dropped to 8-12.
The two programs will be conference foes in 2026 when Shelbyville joined the Hoosier Legends Conference.
Alivia Lee led the Golden Bears with 15 kills. Jordyn Noe finished with 10 kills and three service aces. Sydney Haehl had a team-high 17 digs. Addy Marshall collected 31 assists and had three aces.
Audrey Darlage led Triton Central with 19 assists
Shelbyville hosts Lawrence Central (9-11) tonight at William L. Garrett Gymnasium.
Triton Central hosts Mt. Vernon (14-5) Wednesday.

At Triton Central, goalkeeper Cheyenne Allen collected her school record eighth shutout of the season as the Tigers improved to 7-2-2 this season.
Triton Central scored all five goals in the first half against the Crusaders (4-6-1).
Ariel Walker finished with two goals and one assist. Ava Bedwell, Maddie Burnett and Rylee Pruitt also scored goals. Allen was credited with five saves.
The Tigers are at Indian Creek (4-8) today for a Hoosier Legends Conference match.
Volleyball
Knightstown def. Southwestern, 25-8, 25-10, 26-24
At Southwestern, Lanee Swindell and Lilly Drew combined for 26 kills to lead the Panthers (9-8) over the Spartans.
Jaycie Cole delivered five service aces and 28 assists for Knightstown.
