A rally from a double-digit deficit fell short Thursday night for the Plymouth Lady Pilgrims.
The Pilgrims trailed on the road at Concord by 14 at halftime, 30-16. The deficit grew to 19 points before Plymouth began to crawl back into the NLC contest. Lena Jones scored a game-high 24 points to power the comeback as the Pilgrims got as close as six in the fourth quarter before Concord preserved the conference win, 59-49.
Concord (9-10, 2-4 NLC) shot 55% from the field including 47% from the behind the arc.
Rylee Mann scored ten points for Plymouth and pulled down four rebounds. Teammate Sophie Miller scored seven points with four assists and four rebounds for Plymouth (9-10, 2-3 NLC).
