Triton Central High School basketball players Maryrose Felling and Eli Sego have been named the Beth Prince State Farm Athletes of the Week.
Felling and Sego, who led their teams to Shelby County Tournament championships Monday night, were named Most Valuable Players of their respective tournaments.
Felling, a junior, finished with a game-high 23 points as the Tigers topped Waldron in the title game, 68-30.
She also had six rebounds and three assists and moved into the No. 6 slot on Triton Central’s career scoring list with 1,104 points.
In the semifinal win over Morristown, Felling scored 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
TC (11-6) has won nine of its last 10 games.

Sego, a junior, scored 24 points (10 of 11 shooting) as the Tigers defeated Morristown in the championship, 75-29.
In the tournament, Sego scored 51 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, dished out eight assists and produced seven steals.
TC (7-5) has won four of its last six games.
