Morristown’s Cole Helton and Waldron’s Troy Atwood produced All-Conference performances this season for their respective programs.
The Mid-Hoosier Conference released its All-MHC Baseball Squad. Twelve players were honored while 11 more were named Honorable Mention.
Atwood and Helton were joined on the All-Conference Team by Hauser’s Kameron Blair, R.J. Foster and Stryker Gill, North Decatur’s Tyler Dean, Matthew Fields and Wyatt Reisman, and South Decatur’s Cayden Drake, Corey Nugent, Grady Scudder and J.P. Scudder.
Morristown’s Braxton Lenning, Jake Miesse and Owen Rinzel and Waldron’s Hunter Dodson were selected Honorable Mention. Also selected were North Decatur’s Grayson Downey and Eli Trenkamp, Edinburgh’s Landon Garris and Ayden Swallows, Hauser’s James Oliver and Jack Sargent, and South Decatur’s Drake Scaggs.
South Decatur head coach Anthony Jarvis was named MHC Coach of the Year.
Hauser’s Stryker Gill was named the MHC’s Most Outstanding Player.
South Decatur (15-6 overall), Hauser (15-4) and North Decatur (11-8) all finished at 10-2 in the conference standings.
Waldron (9-14) followed at 5-7. Morristown (8-11) finished at 2-7 while Edinburgh (6-16) went 2-10.
