Morristown's Hawk and Rogers selected to MHC's All-Softball Squad

A pair of Yellow Jackets were selected to the Mid-Hoosier Conference’s All-Conference Softball Squad.

Sawyer Rogers and Abby Hawk were two of 12 players named All-MHC. They were joined by South Decatur’s Riley Benge, Dalilah Martin and Lilly Murray, Hauser’s Karlieann Brooks and Lexi Hamilton, Edinburgh’s Eloise Cox and Kenna Streeval, and North Decatur’s Madison Rohls, Carmen Thackery and Brooklyn White.

Seven more players were named Honorable Mention.

They were Waldron’s Breanna Barton and Abby Crouch, Morristown’s Mykynzy Smith, South Decatur’s Raegan Benge, Hauser’s Katie Robinson and Edinburgh’s Brylynn Dora and Chloe Hancock.

North Decatur head coach Phil Nobbe and South Decatur head coach Lisa Huff were named MHC Co-Coaches of the Year.

Edinburgh’s Kenna Streeval was named the MHC’s Most Outstanding Player.

North Decatur (17-10) was crowned MHC champion with a 10-2 record.

Edinburgh (20-8) and Hauser (12-11) were runners-up at 9-3. South Decatur (12-8) followed at 5-5. Morristown (8-12, 3-7) and Waldron (5-14, 0-10) completed the standings.
