LaVille beaten by NorthWood LAKEVILLE - The varsity softball team battled class 3A NorthWood before falling, 7-3, on a cold and rainy afternoon Wednesday at Lancer Field. Allison Thomas led the offense with a pair of hits and an RBI. Alexis Wilfing picked up a two RBI double. Hannah Good and Wilfing pitched for the Lancers. LaVille will travel to Culver Academy Thursday for a 5 p.m. start.
