The South Knox Lady Softball Spartans scored two runs in the top of the 6th inning Tuesday to erase a one run deficit and held on to beat the Lawrenceville Lady Indians 4-3 in non-conference play at Phil Alsman Field. The visitors took an early 2-0 lead, but the Lady Indians came from behind with three in the bottom of the 3rd to grab a 3-2 edge that they held until later. The Lady Indians threatened in the 6th and 7th but could not get the big hit as they stranded 10 runners on the day. Both Kenidee Boldt and Addy Brush had 2 hits and each an RBI in the loss for Lawrenceville, now at 9-15 on the season. They return to action Wednesday as they travel to Newton for a rescheduled conference game.
