Lady Red Storm take win PLYMOUTH - The Lady Red Storm was again on the road against local rival Bremen. The Red Storm team moved to 8-0 with a solid 23-9 win. Bremen took a 7-4 lead behind 6 points by Jess Yelaska. The Lady Red Storm shooting was cold during the first half. The team came out on fire fueled by stifling defense and hot shooting, they took back the lead after three quarters, 19-9. Leading the team in scoring was Summer South with seven, followed by Sara Hunter and Clare Sheedy with five points each. Kami Burkett, Lexi Rose and Hannah Friberg closed out the scoring with two points apiece. Sheedy controlled by the glass with eight rebounds on the night. On the defensive side of the ball, South, Rose, Hunter and Lauren Rumpler had two steals each. Next up for the eighth grade Lady Red Storm group is a B team tourney that they are hosting this Saturday. First game for the B team squad is 9 a.m. The A team returns to action on Thursday as they host Laville, game time is approximately 6 p.m.
