The team will play in the Prospect League, a premier summer collegiate wood-bat league featuring top college players from across the country. Kokomo previously fielded a Prospect League team from 2015 to 2019, and the league’s return marks an exciting new chapter for local baseball.
The new franchise is owned by Bullpen Ventures, which will oversee the team’s operations and game-day experience at Kokomo Municipal Stadium.
Mayor Tyler Moore expressed his excitement about the return of baseball to Kokomo:
“The City of Kokomo is thrilled to welcome Bullpen Ventures and the Prospect League back to Kokomo Municipal Stadium. Baseball has always had a special place in our community, and we can’t wait to see fans filling the stands once again.”
Fans are encouraged to make their voices heard and be part of history by helping choose the name that will represent Kokomo baseball for years to come.
